How Many People Hold Jobs In The United States?
A job is something everyone will need to have at some point in their lives. After all, money makes the world go round. While money isn’t everything, it pays the bills and can afford a bit of freedom. Of the 328 million people living in the United States, how many of them hold jobs? Believe it or not, a whopping 155.76 people are employed in the United States at a given time. That number can fall or go up based on economic factors and opportunity. Just how many hours a day are all of those Americans spending at their jobs?

In the US, the average American works around 8.5 hours per day, which adds up to around 42 hours per week. On average, Americans get less than 15 days of paid vacation per year, which is quite low compared to other countries in the world. In France, employees cannot work more than 35 hours per week and get an average of 30 days of paid vacation. This could be why so many Americans tend to feel a bit overworked and overstressed! According to statistics, 80% of all Americans are unhappy or dissatisfied with their jobs.
